Our Story
A Mother’s Vision, a Child’s Inspiration
CurioBuddy wasn’t just born out of thin air; it emerged from a parent’s observation and a child’s boundless curiosity. As the CEO of SARK Promotions, a digital marketing company publishing the kids’ magazines, namely The KK Times and The Qurious Atom, Dr. Shubhangi Gupta witnessed firsthand the extraordinary efforts of her 9 year old daughter, Miss Kanira Gupta, the magazines’ young Chief Editor. It all started with Kanira’s spark!
But Dr. Shubhangi, also a director of a CBSE school, saw a gap in the digital landscape. While Kanira and her peers thrived on creating and exploring, the age-appropriate and truly enriching online content remained scarce. The readily available options, often on platforms like YouTube, Netflix were more focused on entertainment and garnering views than fostering genuine knowledge and critical thinking.
Kids these days are swamped with digital stuff that’s mostly shallow and doesn’t really make them think creatively or explore new ideas. Traditional children magazines don’t really let them jump in and participate, or get their own creations published alongside other kids’. We want to change that!
Dr. Shubhangi Gupta, Director, Heritage Academy.
This dilemma sparked an idea: to build a safe, engaging platform specifically designed for curious young minds like Kanira’s. CurioBuddy was born out of this personal story, aiming to bridge the gap between passive consumption and active, collaborative learning.
Leveraging her experience in education and digital marketing, Dr. Gupta envisioned CurioBuddy as more than just a website. It’s a community where children aged 5-15 years, from primary school to middle school, can embark on a collaborative learning journey. Fuelled by the unique child’s perspective offered by The KK Times and The Qurious Atom, children can explore science, arts, crafts, storytelling, and more – all while being empowered to contribute their own voices and ideas.
This is the essence of CurioBuddy: a platform where children are not just consumers, but creators, collaborators, and critical thinkers. We invite you to join us on this exciting adventure, where curiosity leads the way and young minds blossom into future leaders.

Our Mastermind
Step aside, adults, because CurioBuddy’s two kids magazines’ Chief Editor is a 9-year-old wonder named Kanira! Not only does she hold the world record for being the Youngest Chief Editor of a published magazine, but she’s also an academic powerhouse, actively involved in both co-curricular and academic activities at school. Now serving on the student council, Kanira’s leadership extends beyond the pages of our magazines.
Kanira’s “Eureka moment” wasn’t about some grand invention, but about something far more profound: the power of involving children directly in creating content they consume. This realization led to the birth of The KK Times and The Qurious Atom, unlike any other children’s magazines you’ve seen before. Launched in 2023, these digital publications offer a unique child’s perspective, spearheaded by the brilliant 8-year-old herself. Kanira’s vision transformed the traditional magazine model, fostering collaboration and empowering young minds to share their voices and creativity with the world.
But her talents don’t stop there! This multi-faceted young talent loves graphic design, puzzling, writing stories, drawing, crafting, and even became a published author at the tender age of 6! As a dedicated Kathak dance student, she gracefully balances her creative pursuits with academic excellence. Kanira’s thirst for knowledge is insatiable, and she thrives on participating in camps and workshops, fueled by a dream of building innovative gadgets one day. Join us in celebrating this remarkable young leader, whose boundless curiosity and creativity inspire us all!
Why Schools Love Us! – Testimonial
Why Kids Magazine ” KK Times” and “The Qurious Atom “Are Good For Generation Z?
The KK Times Magazine is packed with quality composition, colourful illustrations, important pieces of information, weather forecasts, riddles, fun games, puzzles, and artwork. Most importantly of all, a great framework and attractive presentations.
This is a fantastic magazine to encourage children to read more and more and then wait for the next issue to be published.
The illustrations are utterly gorgeous and the text is perfectly balanced to entertain you enough to read and involve your little ones as well. It is an extremely high-quality magazine.
My best compliments to the youngest editor in the world (8 years of age), Miss Kanira Gupta for handling this big task in a well-balanced manner.
Keep it up -the little princess.
Best Wishes
